After my latest post unfortunately things will get worse for the children in Congo as they’ll have to mine more cobalt so more people can drive a battery electric vehicle. Presidential candidates such as Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren want to ban gasoline/diesel vehicles by 2030. This doesnt sound promising and Mike Bloomberg, Pete Buttigieg and Andrew Yang want to do the same but at a later time. This is unacceptable. It would take over 10 years to get hydrogen on the way and even longer to convert gas stations to hydrogen but the presidential candidates want to force battery electric vehicles onto everyone because they’re “zero emission”.

So there will be chaos within the next 10-15 years if any of these people end up as president. All I can say is if these bans are put into place the children who have to mine cobalt for lithium ion batteries for the electric vehicles, the automotive industry and even the economy may collapse. All because of the fear mongering that we’re responsible for climate change. As a ban is placed there will be a lot of hate towards people who drive electric cars, especially in America. What started off by blocking Tesla charging stations will end up as road rage takes a new form.

Itll be chaos, unfortunately. Some people have already made threats to do pit maneuvers with their diesel trucks onto Teslas and other EVs. So while these are threats, it really will be a catastrophe on the road over the next few decades.

This may be an old article…

Child miners aged four living a hell on Earth so YOU can drive an electric car

The fact is, though it takes 33lbs or more to produce an electric vehicle battery. Lithium ion batteries already require larger amounts of cobalt which accounts to over 60%. Only 40% is being used for other things and less than 10%  being used by gasoline refining. 10 grams may not seem like a lot for cellphone batteries but it adds up. This was already a concern when lithium ion batteries took shape besides the volatile nature of lithium ion batteries. Yet we’re still using it in everyday devices and now the UK wants to ban combustion engine vehicles for lithium ion powered vehicles. That 60% will jump to 70+%. As the battery density starts to rise so does the need for cobalt which the primary use for it in lithium ion batteries is to keep the batteries cool. Since more technology advances so does the battery cooling methods. And lithium ion batteries in EVs consume a ton. 33lbs for one car. Imagine how much cobalt is needed to run the upcoming Hummer EV. Rivian has an electric truck that uses over 7k batteries which is twice the amount of a Tesla battery so you’re looking at 66lbs or more for a light duty truck. I dont even want to think about how much cobalt is required to run that Tesla semi.

The child laboring has been an issue since the dawn of time but I can think of nothing worse than children dying just to spend weeks on end just to mine one EV battery.

The fact is however nothing is being done. I’ve written this as a Christian to implore everyone to pray for the Congo children because they dont deserve this. We dont deserve lithium ion battery technology.

We get it you need a cellphone to stay in contact with family and friends. It’s a great way to keep updated on news. It’s also a tool to bring this despicable tragedy due to the greed of “clean air zero emissions electric cars”. We also get why you want an electric vehicle. But battery electric is not the answer. And its clear that we need a lot more cobalt to manufacture more EV batteries, something that really is not a sustainable future, especially when majority of lithium ion battery cobalt is being mined by innocent children. I had almost forgotten about these poor children until I watched another video on the horrid conditions from mining cobalt for lithium ion batteries. The main reason I had always been against battery electric in the first place.. it’s not just the terrible range, long recharge times or the cold and hot weather zapps the batteries lifespan. The government wants everyone to switch to electric but how can we when the cost of human life is far worse than what we are potentially doing to the planet.

I got into an argument over a fool who thinks that it’s ok to let children mine 33lbs of cobalt for just 1 vehicle vs ounces needed to manufacture gasoline that has the potential to last decades. I dont have exact measurements on this subject or how much cobalt children are mining for gasoline refinement but EVs are the main contribution to cobalt mining. The laptop computers are secondary to all other lithium ion batteries.

Its downright evil and if climate change were to end us all I dont want the blood of children on my hands just so i don’t have any tailpipe emissions. Regardless where that cobalt comes from a large chunk will go to electric vehicles. The enormous psychological and physical damage these kids will have to endure in the future because “battery electric is the future” is downright evil and no one should be standing for it. We need to reduce our use of cobalt starting with BEVs. No one can force you to buy a battery electric vehicle, not even the government. Dont let them do it. Keep buying gasoline until hydrogen can make it’s way to the market and be a real ethical solution to our tailpipe emissions.

Again, pray for the children in Congo and support them by refusing to buy battery electric vehicles. You can also extend your cellphone or tablet batteries (any lithium ion batteries) by keeping a charge of 40-80%. Get a Goal Zero Guide 10 that uses nickel metal hydride batteries (and Eneloops) if you dont have anywhere to charge. Avoid buying anything that uses lithium ion technology and instead use Eneloops. Besides my cellphone I haven’t bought anything that uses lithium ion batteries since 2005. And I dont plan to. Anything that reduces the necessity of cobalt. You could even buy a more economical vehicle like a gas Honda or Toyota. Dont buy the hybrids that may use the lithium ion batteries. Again, pray for the children in Congo. Maybe if there is a massive strike or ban against lithium ion and cobalt in general maybe things could change but for now avoid the lithium ion technology due to the excessive use of cobalt used in these batteries.

So this happened: City to ban gendered language like “manhole,” “manpower” and “firemen”
Berkeley word

Yes I had to do a couple of eye rolls from Janeway and even a double facepalm Picard from Star Trek. This is what we’re reduced to, the government deciding what words we should use. We have so many other problems in the world such as homelessness, hunger, poverty and greed. There is a high cost of living and the pay stays the same and oh ridiculously high taxes. Oh the minimum wage is going up.. but your normal wages stay the same. We got so much hatred and the ignoring of mental health. Well the LGBT being here is what happens when we ignore mental illness. I may have mentioned in a previous blog post but I’ll say it again, we need to end this insanity. And no not everyone from the LGBT is mentally insane, they’re just brainwashed by the mentally insane. It’s sad they believe it too. We are also told that we need to listen to the professionals. Well it’s the professionals who let them out in the first place without understanding the repercussions. Did they really know these people would be outcasts to society and subjected to violence, suicide and murder? Or that they would obsessively say that males are women and society is supposed to adopt the pronouns that they use.

(Again, go back to the eyeroll/facepalm gifs.)

This LGBT agenda has gone from out of control to completely insane. We went from people being attracted to the same sex to males being women, to kids being transgender and to having to be forced to use pronouns. Oh then there are those who don’t identify as male or female and those who feel like a female one day and a male the next. And thousands of different genders

‘Eyeroll/facepalm.gif’

Ugh.. and guess who’s behind this, the professionals and the mentally insane. Then you got businesses and celebrities behind this such as George Takei from the original Star Trek series, which I believe is also gay. I was ok with that until he became an activist or he was like that and it wasn’t very public, well otherwise he’d already be in a mental hospital instead of being on the original 60s TV show. Either way I can separate his character in the science fiction show from who he is. But that doesnt change the fact these activists are completely insane. Not all of them are. George is pretty vocal at times but he’s generally a good person and doesnt force his pride like some people do. Though he does show pride for being LGBT.

But.. we went downhill.. and I’m wondering if it’s the ambitious nature of closeted people who allowed the LGBT out of mental asylums. If you are rich you can make anything happen and its possible someone like George Takei who had a lot of money allow LGBT people out of mental asylums.

As for the pronoun agenda from the LGBT, well.. it’s a violation of the freedom of speech. If I want to call my brother a brother and not some wishy washy words like siblings I’m going to do that. I doubt the pronoun police will be there to arrest me but it’ll be interesting how this unfolds. Whether people will be fined for saying certain words or whatever this is the end of our civilization and we know it.

I’m praying for a turnaround for these events or the end of us.. at least Noah, flood levels that we need to take our knowledge of today, put it on a deep space vessel (well we need to invent one) and move to a new planet where we can build a proper, logical society.

Hey, maybe if people are successful with the raid of Area 51 we could find a few spacecrafts and use those. (Well.. if they exist lol)

All jokes aside I really fear for our future as a species.

It was finally revealed that the Las Vegas shooting was most likely due to anti-anxiety drugs.

https://www.reviewjournal.com/local/the-strip/las-vegas-strip-shooter-prescribed-anti-anxiety-drug-in-june/

Surprised? I’m not, as the shooters mental health was in question from the start. No one with any sense of right and wrong would consider firing onto a crowd of innocent victims. At least no one with the understanding of right and wrong. However medication can cause undesired effects and it seems that this guy was suffering from anxiety. Clearly something snapped to make this guy to obtain guns and to shoot them into a crowd full of people because he may have been under the influence of drugs. Now even though the drugs were prescribed a few months ago, it may have been his mind has been altered by the drugs.

This goes back to how our mental health is and how it has gone unchecked. Most people may get through life without a major mental breakdown but others should be looked closely.

I have dealt with anxiety, depression and stress. Practically to the point of a mental breakdown. I overcame it and I never thought about inflicting violence on others. A few times I was dealing with very uncomfortable thoughts but never to the extent of planning to do something. I had to stop myself from thinking about negative thoughts and try to focus on something else. I’m grateful it has never escalated beyond any serious negative impact.

However some others are not as lucky and if this anti-anxiety pills cause aggression there either needs to be a smaller dose or close monitoring of the patient so that way if the problem does escalate into violence it could be stopped to avoid any serious injury to anyone. And this LV tragedy could have been avoided not just by more gun control but better monitoring of the shooter so he could not obtain any weapons and to get help relieving the aggressive tendencies. To ignore this behavior is only going to lead towards another violent attack. Gun control might use some improvements but the greatest problem is the mental health state people are in and it also varies from person to person since certain problems could affect certain people differently.

Not a day after the Las Vegas shooting we are already talking about gun control. Just like any other tragic shooting instead of mourning the loss of people, the major talk is gun control.

Not that gun control is a bad thing but the problem is that anytime we have a major shooting the topic of gun control takes over the media. Celebrities are not helping, instead of giving out condolences they are complaining about the 2nd amendment rights.

All the whole completely ignoring the mental health state in America. For anyone to obtain illegal weapons and to willingly harm and murder people for any reason is a mental illness. Even though murder may not be an actual mental illness according to experts the mental health in America needs major improvement. Mental health often goes unnoticed and it is partly due to the inefficiencies of our social structure.

When people are often only thinking of themselves and monetary interests are more important than the health of civilization the mental health of society is degraded. We could implement a much better health program, the best to our ability however that would also be costly, with our current social/monetary system implementing the best mental healthcare would raise taxes far more comfortable than what people are willing to do.

That doesn’t mean it can’t be done, even, $0.05 extra in taxes a year per taxpayer would help improve things. Certainly if we are on the same page celebrities would most likely donate money to our mental healthcare giving more people access to this necessary service. However were not even in the same book on the subject of gun violence. It’s easier to blame guns because it doesn’t cost anything to taxpayers to limit who can own a gun. At some point, gun control can only go so far and it doesn’t prevent some psychopath from finding some way of inflicting harm to others.

On a side note, when we are talking about mental health it has to do more than a simple mental health evaluation. We need to simply talk. We need to record experiences and above all we need to stop being in our own world and start listening to others. A lot of our mental health issues is mainly due to a forced reality of forcing many people to do uncomfortable and even degrading acts. A hundred people are forced to do things one person decided to do. The Illinois, Cook county soda tax for an example is largely rejected but because of a select few, it was implemented. As a result, many Cook county residents are shopping in other counties, affecting businesses who was against the soda tax are losing money.

The mental health needs major improvement, but so long as we keep blaming guns for gun violence when we have a mental health crisis won’t solve the violence problems. When gun control reaches it’s limits, if gun violence won’t be an issue, there will still be violence so long as we continue to ignore the mental health issues in America and around the world.

Illinois moves into the top 20 personal income tax states

If you are in Illinois and upset over the personal income tax hike, well now Illinois is the 16th worst state to be in.

Here’s a list of the states with highest average income tax rates:

California – 7.75
Oregon – 7.73
Minnesota – 7.53
Maine – 7.23
Vermont – 7.18
Hawaii – 7.01
New York – 6.05
Wisconsin – 5.94
North Carolina – 5.49
Connecticut – 5.4
Massachusetts – 5.1
Idaho – 5
New Hampshire – 5
Tennessee – 5*
Utah – 5
Illinois – 4.95
Iowa – 4.92
Rhode Island – 4.83
West Virginia – 4.8
Delaware – 4.71

“The tax increase isn’t a solution to (the state’s financial problems),” Labell said. “The impact of this hike would be felt much sooner than the budget impasse. There would be more economic stagnation and more people will leave the state, and the more people who leave the state, the worse it will be for those who stay.”

The economic downfall of Illinois is already bad. I have not closed on my new property as of yet and i am tempted to just cancel it and work on moving to a better state. Illinois is beyond fixing. The second quote is exactly what will happen. When businesses and residents flee the state the increased tax rate won’t do much with the lousy spending the state is doing. The only way Illinois gets out of the debt and avoid becoming a junk state is to cut 70% of it’s expenses. That means a ton of layoffs, something that no state wants to do but without a budget and without a way to pay off the debt there won’t be a state for people to live in. And that means the entire state will suffer.  For starters IL should shut down their emissions air quality control and cut all road construction and only focus on the roads that desperately need repairing.

When i had a budget crisis of my own i had to make some tough choices. I couldn’t buy any new clothes, couldn’t buy any cleaning supplies (only when i really needed it) and i only drove to work and home. I was still losing money but it wasn’t a whole lot and i got it back during tax time. I am already going to see if i could claim myself as a dependent on state income taxes but that means i won’t be able to spend that money.. and it’s a bit of a headache with that and usually it’s easier to just let them take the money they need out. But if they are not getting paid every week they may have to make more cuts. In the end it won’t matter as the extra money they are trying to get from people will be lost when people are moving out of Illinois. The only solution to fix this is something that the Illinois politicians are not willing to do, but it needs to be done if we are to get out of this budget crisis.

Illinois fails to come up with a budget. Gov. Rauner responds to state lawmakers failing to pass state budget. So what happens? They try doing a sugar tax on drinks. Judge blocks Cook County soda pop tax

Even though it’s supposed to curb obesity and raise health overall all it’s really going to do is cause people to spend less money elsewhere. Meanwhile Illinois politicians are fattening their wallets, because of a dysfunctional budget it’s a great excuse to extort taxpayer money. Illinois is falling apart. How Illinois became America’s most messed-up state

Illinois already has the worst tax rate in the US, ILLINOIS HAS HIGHEST OVERALL TAX BURDEN IN THE NATION – Let’s understand why Illinois has the highest property taxes
Translated: Illinois residents are being robbed from their income. Other states do not have these ridiculous tax rates. You may heard the phrase, “taxation is theft”, well in this case Illinois fits it perfectly. Millions politicians are thieves. Since they can’t come up with a budget, they are increasing taxes and of course they are doing just that which makes Illinois the worst state in America, Tax increase approved by Illinois House heads to Senate; Gov. Rauner threatens to veto

No more tax increases Illinois!

Several lawmakers called for people to act with courage and support the tax hike.

“I hate tax increases, hate them, and it will hurt small business to do this, but it also hurts small business to ask them to do business with the state and then we don’t pay them,” said Rep. Terri Bryant, R-Mt. Vernon.
“We have an opportunity to keep our state afloat and stop being an embarrassment,” said Lou Lang, D-Skokie.

Next stop is over at the Senate, which reconvenes at noon Monday.

House Speaker Mike Madigan was celebrating the votes Sunday. The bill does not include any of the reforms the governor wanted.

So this is the response from the Republican party. Enough already, as an Illinois resident i am sick and tired of having my hard earned money taken away because the politicians can’t come with a budget. Everything from soda taxes to higher rates at the gas pump to higher tolls, everything in Illinois is going up. The only thing that is going down is the population and property value.

Something needs to be done here and it’s along the lines of kicking these politicians out of office and getting people who know how to do a strict budget without raising the taxes. In fact taxes need to go down. Illinois residents are already hurting because of the poor mismanagement of taxpayer money and high taxes. At this point, the only thing Illinois can do is go bankrupt and let the surrounding states handle the former Illinois state because at this point, Illinois is too far gone. With the soda tax in Cook county, it’s only a matter of time before people just leave Cook county and Illinois all together. The tax increase is only going to make things worse for Illinois. Not having a good budget is making things worse for Illinois.

It might be too soon, but R.I.P. Illinois.
