Illinois recently passed a law making schools teach LGBT history. As if there was much history to begin with LGBT which I believe came around in the 70s or 80s, before that time homosexuality has been widely rejected and even illegal so they were placed in mental asylums. Now I do know of the horrific experiments being done to the mentally ill which was barbaric to say the least. So I’d like to think what we now call psychiatric hospitals (or institutions) have gotten much better.

Its unclear how being homosexual was no longer illegal let alone no longer a mental illness but it happened and it can only be speculated as someone paid some experts to be convinced to let them go. Supposedly there was an LGBT or active gay movement that started in the 1940s, but others say they started in the late 1980s.

Its difficult to say when the LGBT began but it could have been the gay active movement that caused homosexuality to become legalized and very rarely there was ever transgenders. Of course it wouldn’t be surprising that they did this in secret. They knew transgenders would never be accepted and they were first discovered in the 1940s but breast enhancements didn’t start until the 60s. So transgenders were often called cross dressers. They looked nothing like what their actual gender was, most often they were easily spotted and easily scared off from continuing the crossdressing. Theres also drag queens but its unclear whether they were the same as crossdressers. Bottom line these people were the first ‘transgenders’. They couldn’t have surgeries or drugs and kids were not being treated as being a transgender.

However the LGBT is hard pushing the agenda that kids are transgender and should be given drugs to stop puberty. This sort of thing should be illegal and abolished. Doctors are too quick in injecting poison into our children and mess up their thinking of things.

Instead of telling kids to accept their bodies for what they are and accept their assigned gender they’re being told, do what you feel like. As early as 3 years old a child who doesnt know how to tie his own shoes is being encouraged to live out their fantasy of being the incorrect or opposite assigned gender.

So how could transgender kids have existed so long before the drugs were even given? How is it no reports of kids being suicidal because they weren’t allowed to live out the gender they think they are? Its because it wasnt in their way of thinking. Other people placed this image into their heads and think, “if this person can do that then so can i.” Whether or not gender dysphoria is real, so called experts don’t care. They just say let the kid decide. A 3 year old child who can’t decide what to eat or wear is making a life altering decision that doesn’t just impact them physically with the hormone blocker drugs, it impacts them emotionally. When it comes to puberty and when a boy wants to be a girl but may like boys or girls (depending upon how much of their fantasy plays into what sex they desire) their life is going to be hell because neither sex wants to date someone who is transgender. Not to mention what kind of impact it’ll have on their peers especially if they decide to detransition. Either way transgenderism is making something simple into something extremely complicated. You are taking a perfectly healthy boy or man and trying to convert them into a girl or woman. Scientifically and spiritually, that is just wrong. A male having feelings of being a woman or a female doesn’t mean they are a woman/female. This is why these LGBT classes are unnecessary. This is why the state and people in general need to stay out of families noses. If they dont want their kids to turn out to be transgender then let them do it. Give them the resources to make that happen because if the kid ends up frustrated or suicidal it will be hell because the LGBT is making it impossible to let parents decide so they can try to force people to accept them. Because people won’t accept transgenders willingly, so they got to force people to accept them. This is why there is transgender kids, LGBT history class, transgender books for kids, and drag queen library recruitment centers. They deny that one because they don’t want to be seen as devious, evil people trying to convert parents kids. Yet if one kid claims to be transgender, other kids will follow regardless if they really feel that way.

This is why the transgender movement is out of control and really needs to be stopped.

There is a group called MassResistance, check them out if you are tired of transgender ideology being pushed onto children and pushed in society’s faces. Transgenders are mentally ill and there are plenty of transgenders who are either in prison or act crazy in public and a nuisance to society. No matter what someone tells you the LGBT is pushing lies onto the public and denying it. They know they are lies but then again it’s all brainwashing nonsense. Pull your kids out of public schools and take them to a Christian school that hasn’t abandoned their morals.

First of all, the cost of living is ridiculous. To make it worse the wonderful state of Illinois doubled the gas tax and car registration is now another $50. I’m already straining on buying a new car even a relatively new Honda Accord costs around $25k. That’s $25,000. Needless to say I gotta wonder if I could get a Dodge Challenger.

I love Chicago and Illinois for its wonderful weather and sights. However the politicians are a huge problem. They can’t find ways to cut expenses yet we the taxpayers are funding their huge homes and $70k vehicles. They make over $50k a year which is ridiculous when we have to pay taxes that won’t even fix the bad roads. Instead they tear up perfectly good roads and ignore the ones with crater sized potholes.

Even though gas taxes are not too terrible, you got a ton of people driving way over the speed limit which also uses more gas up. They dont seem to mind though because they’re getting upset with me for driving 55mph instead of 60mph and they dont always like me driving 60 either.

It’s gotten ridiculous with the costs and taxes.

On to the other topic so I did freak out a bit when I saw my favorite crush drive up (I could see it with the door ajar and even though the window) I was already getting ready to leave to go to the other plant but it just seems that I’m not ready to see her quite yet.

Also for Friday and Monday during her 12:30pm lunch I got this vibe of feeling anxious or anxiety. Like I wonder if she was worried I might try to talk to her again or something. I really don’t know what’s going on there… I keep rationalizing it, that’s it’s just all in my head but also I was a bit rattled when I saw her drive up. I’m not sure whether she came by my workstation because I was facing the other way letting a coworker/friend know I have done the first pass with some parts. I also kept far away when I was heading to the other plant. The only thing I can think of at the moment is maybe she’s wondering why I’m not there when she is so maybe shes worried that I’m avoiding her. Like she might feel bad for canceling the lunch.

But see I don’t know and as far as what I’m doing, I’m moving on. So maybe being in the vicinity is doing something rather than avoiding the plant entirely. So it appears to be doing something, I hope. We’ll see what happens over the week.

Oh no not another anti-EV post. We’ll it’s here because this past week has been another fun round of what electric car is being discussed today. I’m already tired of having to explain why I don’t want one to EV enthusiasts.

With people clamoring about climate change and the recent green protests by children no less (it happened in the 70s I think) yet I’m not ready to give up on gasoline (internal combustion) engines yet. And why buy a car you’re going to hate to drive. I have driven an EV and there is only only one gear. An automatic transmission vehicle is more fun to drive but I really like manual ones better. Nothing more than feeling that surge of power with very gear shift. I haven’t bought one mainly because it would end up a hassle on daily driving. Plus I’d like to hire an instructor or a friend to show me what I can or can’t do so I’m not ruining the drivetrain. I’ve driven a few manuals in the past, recently in 2004 on my grandfather’s ranch (now my uncles) had driven a Suzuki around the farm and it was pretty easy even though I probably tore the thing apart it was just fun to drive.

If you can’t find joy in driving a vehicle you drive then it’ll seem worse when you are annoyed by other drivers. Even though that will happen regardless and daily driving sometimes feel repetitive there are times when you can have fun and enjoy your vehicle, it’s better if the vehicle is made for fun sort of like a Dodge Challenger, a lot of horsepower will make you smile.

Electric vehicles take the fun out of it. Even with modern automatic transmissions they made it so you hardly ever feel any gear shifts. Hence the fun with manual transmissions. You feel the momentary loss of power then re-engage when you shift to another gear. Its a lot of fun but i haven’t driven one in awhile so it would take some getting used to and I prefer not to be in heavy traffic trying to relearn it. If I was out in the country though I’d jump at the chance. Another is reduced fuel economy with manual, automatics are more fuel efficient so as a daily driver autos are better if you are a bit concerned with that. Especially in stop and go traffic it makes sense for an automatic. Unless you absolutely want a manual.

So besides the batteries in an EV, the lack of experience with them, there is not even a real interesting EV out there, reliability factors and the fact they don’t feel right I really just hate the idea of EVs replacing gas. Hopefully the U.S. and especially Illinois won’t force people to drive them any time soon because other countries have and really considering less than 12% of emissions are caused by cars. So switching over wouldn’t make a difference and climate change will happen no matter what. We can’t control it.

We need ground rules to prevent carbon taxes, forced EV adoption and hopefully people will fight to keep gas vehicles from being banned or shunned away due to some scientists with a government paycheck and environmentalists who positively believe that gas vehicles harm the planet (the same people who say warming up your car harms the engine). It doesn’t take a genius to see that from the recent EV craze comes the crazy environmentalist who think we need to get off fossil fuels in 10 years or we’ll pay the price.

Many auto manufacturers are investing in electric vehicle production like GM and VW, that actually scares me if people start opting to buy one. Sure it’ll sell in places where EVs are widely adopted but I do hope they do research and see that EVs are not a good replacement for gas. Most of the adoption comes from environmentalists or EV enthusiasts that care about 1/4 mile runs.

The problem is that the government won’t stop making laws, laws that could potentially kill the gas vehicles in favor of trying to save the planet (even though it won’t do any good) by imposing carbon taxes or preventing manufactures from selling gas vehicles. In the end the cost of living will go up on those unwilling or unable to give up on gas vehicles.

If these electric vehicles are the future then I don’t want to be a part of that future, because its depressing. I don’t have a problem with clean energy but that doesn’t mean we should give up on gas vehicles. Someone could invent a 0% emissions catalytic converter or a cleaner fuel that will be effective in combustion engines. Why give that up so that people have a choice instead of being forced to buy an EV if they don’t want to.

Illinois moves into the top 20 personal income tax states

If you are in Illinois and upset over the personal income tax hike, well now Illinois is the 16th worst state to be in.

Here’s a list of the states with highest average income tax rates:

California – 7.75
Oregon – 7.73
Minnesota – 7.53
Maine – 7.23
Vermont – 7.18
Hawaii – 7.01
New York – 6.05
Wisconsin – 5.94
North Carolina – 5.49
Connecticut – 5.4
Massachusetts – 5.1
Idaho – 5
New Hampshire – 5
Tennessee – 5*
Utah – 5
Illinois – 4.95
Iowa – 4.92
Rhode Island – 4.83
West Virginia – 4.8
Delaware – 4.71

“The tax increase isn’t a solution to (the state’s financial problems),” Labell said. “The impact of this hike would be felt much sooner than the budget impasse. There would be more economic stagnation and more people will leave the state, and the more people who leave the state, the worse it will be for those who stay.”

The economic downfall of Illinois is already bad. I have not closed on my new property as of yet and i am tempted to just cancel it and work on moving to a better state. Illinois is beyond fixing. The second quote is exactly what will happen. When businesses and residents flee the state the increased tax rate won’t do much with the lousy spending the state is doing. The only way Illinois gets out of the debt and avoid becoming a junk state is to cut 70% of it’s expenses. That means a ton of layoffs, something that no state wants to do but without a budget and without a way to pay off the debt there won’t be a state for people to live in. And that means the entire state will suffer.  For starters IL should shut down their emissions air quality control and cut all road construction and only focus on the roads that desperately need repairing.

When i had a budget crisis of my own i had to make some tough choices. I couldn’t buy any new clothes, couldn’t buy any cleaning supplies (only when i really needed it) and i only drove to work and home. I was still losing money but it wasn’t a whole lot and i got it back during tax time. I am already going to see if i could claim myself as a dependent on state income taxes but that means i won’t be able to spend that money.. and it’s a bit of a headache with that and usually it’s easier to just let them take the money they need out. But if they are not getting paid every week they may have to make more cuts. In the end it won’t matter as the extra money they are trying to get from people will be lost when people are moving out of Illinois. The only solution to fix this is something that the Illinois politicians are not willing to do, but it needs to be done if we are to get out of this budget crisis.

Taxes in Illinois is already horrible. The fact that now it increased has more people fleeing the state. What Illinois’ New Budget Means for Residents

So what does this mean, more people are selling their homes and if they could even sell their home in the first place because people do not want to live in Illinois due to it’s ridiculous tax rate. So the housing market will crash. People spending less will cut job hours, cutting more profits for Illinois. This tax rate will not solve the budget crisis Illinois has. They need to budget and they need to cut a massive amount of expenditures. Now some people might think this tax rate will help Illinois.. It won’t. It’s only going to further destroy Illinois credibility. And at this point, i just want to leave the state because it’s become too costly to live in Illinois. Without an effective budget this state will simply fail.

Illinois fails to come up with a budget. Gov. Rauner responds to state lawmakers failing to pass state budget. So what happens? They try doing a sugar tax on drinks. Judge blocks Cook County soda pop tax

Even though it’s supposed to curb obesity and raise health overall all it’s really going to do is cause people to spend less money elsewhere. Meanwhile Illinois politicians are fattening their wallets, because of a dysfunctional budget it’s a great excuse to extort taxpayer money. Illinois is falling apart. How Illinois became America’s most messed-up state

Illinois already has the worst tax rate in the US, ILLINOIS HAS HIGHEST OVERALL TAX BURDEN IN THE NATION – Let’s understand why Illinois has the highest property taxes
Translated: Illinois residents are being robbed from their income. Other states do not have these ridiculous tax rates. You may heard the phrase, “taxation is theft”, well in this case Illinois fits it perfectly. Millions politicians are thieves. Since they can’t come up with a budget, they are increasing taxes and of course they are doing just that which makes Illinois the worst state in America, Tax increase approved by Illinois House heads to Senate; Gov. Rauner threatens to veto

No more tax increases Illinois!

Several lawmakers called for people to act with courage and support the tax hike.

“I hate tax increases, hate them, and it will hurt small business to do this, but it also hurts small business to ask them to do business with the state and then we don’t pay them,” said Rep. Terri Bryant, R-Mt. Vernon.
“We have an opportunity to keep our state afloat and stop being an embarrassment,” said Lou Lang, D-Skokie.

Next stop is over at the Senate, which reconvenes at noon Monday.

House Speaker Mike Madigan was celebrating the votes Sunday. The bill does not include any of the reforms the governor wanted.

So this is the response from the Republican party. Enough already, as an Illinois resident i am sick and tired of having my hard earned money taken away because the politicians can’t come with a budget. Everything from soda taxes to higher rates at the gas pump to higher tolls, everything in Illinois is going up. The only thing that is going down is the population and property value.

Something needs to be done here and it’s along the lines of kicking these politicians out of office and getting people who know how to do a strict budget without raising the taxes. In fact taxes need to go down. Illinois residents are already hurting because of the poor mismanagement of taxpayer money and high taxes. At this point, the only thing Illinois can do is go bankrupt and let the surrounding states handle the former Illinois state because at this point, Illinois is too far gone. With the soda tax in Cook county, it’s only a matter of time before people just leave Cook county and Illinois all together. The tax increase is only going to make things worse for Illinois. Not having a good budget is making things worse for Illinois.

It might be too soon, but R.I.P. Illinois.

Illinois end-of-year budget deficit to top $6B

Illinois has a total of $14.9 billion deficit. And no one is doing anything about it. The result, higher taxes and population decrease, Illinois loses more residents in 2016 than any other state / https://www.illinoispolicy.org/reports/still-leaving-illinois-an-exodus-of-people-and-money/

This also drives up the constant violence Chicago faces, 8 shot in Lawndale: ‘This is just the city we live in’

High taxes and poor education isn’t helping much in the state of Illinois. The biggest problem is that there isn’t anything being done to rectify the deficit. The increase in taxes won’t help, Illinois Senate Passes Budget, Tax Increase

“You pay the highest property taxes in America. We’ve got to change that. We’ve got to bring our property taxes down over time. And the way to start is to do a true, long-term property tax freeze and give you – all the people of Illinois – the power, the ability to decide, if and when and how your property taxes move,” Rauner said during the Facebook Live. “That’s what we’re pushing for. We’ll never give up on that push. And that’s the stumbling block right now.”

Consequently people are leaving Illinois. Why pay ridiculous tax rates when you can move somewhere where taxes are not as high.

700+ days without an Illinois Budget; Local school district could close if nothing passes

Duct Tape.jpg

Bottom line is Illinois has leaders who have no idea on how to budget. Illinois needs to stop spending money on useless things such as researching on whether they want to build a road, in fact they should stop building new roads and fix the problems with the roads they do have. Increasing tolls, taxes, gas prices and the overall cost of living will only hurt the state in the long run. Illinois has to come up with a budget that cuts all the useless spending out. And with a $14.9 billion deficit, i think it’s time to cut unnecessary spending.
